About Misty Dawn

Misty, an intuitive empath, has dedicated her life to studying the spiritual. Called to the esoteric early on, Misty began studying the Tarot at age twelve. At nineteen, while studying at The Institute for Natural Therapeutics in Scottsdale, AZ, she was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese form of energy healing. Misty's journey with Reiki began in 1998 under the instruction of Marian Esther. A Reiki master in Usui & Kundalini, she believes in the importance of intention and takes a nontraditional approach to Reiki. She remained in Arizona for some years, studying massage, nutrition, the Tarot, Reiki, Astrology, and Numerology. Subsequent years would take her around the world, to over forty different countries. 

Misty spent time practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu in Japan, studying spirituality in Bali and Peru, and meditation in Hawaii. In Thailand, she studied Thai yoga at the Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai. In India, Misty became a Yoga Alliance instructor through Green Yoga. She later returned to India to study sound healing at Satyam Shivam Sundaram Meditation School. She studied Vipassana meditation and Kundalini Reiki on Guam at Amot I Kurason. 

In 2017, in Washington State, Misty opened her heart to host a private yoga retreat, gently introducing her guests to meditation, SUP, and aerial yoga. 

 Most recently, in Imbloc 2023, Misty found herself at the hidden Temple of Sekhmet at Karnak. What followed was a transcendental experience, during which Misty renewed her vow to bring healing and compassion to the world.

After spending the last few years abroad, Misty is thrilled to return to Bremerton, WA, and reopen Green Tara Yoga Retreat.
